Activation modes
Fusible Link Release - Upon activation the link releases at 68°C and the shutter will close in a controlled manner.
Manual Solenoid Release - Designed to be linked into the fire alarm, the signal required from the fire alarm is 24 volt. 0.5 amps on activation. The signal will trigger the manual brake release and allow the industrial fire shutter the close in a controlled manner.
Auto Solenoid Release – Also linked to the fire alarm with the same amp requirements, this is the most popular option, allowing for frequent testing and re-setting, when the door is returned to the open position.
Audio Visual Warning (FDI) – This version delays the closing of the fire shutter, and the fire alarm would be linked to the audio visual unit and from the audio visual unit into the solenoid. After the fire alarm activates the unit will flash and sound. This unit also contains a programmable timer which effectively delays the signal to the solenoid to close the door.
